What’s the History of Coronavirus as CoVid-19?

The current virus is one of six other coronavirus groupings, with 7 total corona virus groupings identified. Apparently, the corona viruses in humans was isolated in the mid-1960’s (Coronavirus | Human Coronavirus Types | CDC www.cdc.gov ).  It has been isolated in animals, livestock and companion animals such as pigs, cows, chickens, dogs, and cats, in the latter half of the century.  And now bats.  The current virus is a SARS virus type producing CoVid-19, transmitted from human to human primarily through droplet and spray particles, or secretions from the eyes, nose, mouth and lungs.

The virus, like any other organism can evolve through bio-engineering.  For example, the genome of SARS may be manipulated by inserting other viral genes into a specific grouping, resulting in SARS CoV2.  In other words, SARS genes can be engineered and merged with HIV genes, creating a new viral strain.  This in turn, may potentiate its virulence due to viral mutation, recombination, and ability to infect and re-infect multiple species and cell types.  Potentiating virulence through bio-engineering certainly contributes to continued human and veterinary animal outbreaks.

Infection can result in mild to severe symptoms, and may result in  fever, cough, and shortness of breath. It may be a forerunner to  worsening of shortness of breath, persistent pain in the chest, new confusion or inability to arouse, and/or bluish color to the lips and face.  Report any suspected symptoms to a medical practitioner or facility.
